June 18th, 1997 -- Once a band is positioned on the chick's leg, it is then rivetted with a pop rivet to ensure it stays on for the life of the bird. Pud Hunter of OMNR has been doing this for years, but the unpredictable behaviour and personaltiy of each chick makes it a new adventure every time.
