June 8th, 2003 -- "I watched the adult sitting in a tree for about 10 minutes. When he left the tree, I tried to follow him in my camera. When I focused, I had a cormorant in the viewfinder and then the adult peregrine came into view from above. They were about two feet apart when I decided to push the shutter button, but due to the speed of the peregrine, the final picture is a lot closer for the cormorant as he probably just felt the peregrine's talons on his back. This photo was taken from Terrapin Point looking towards the American Falls."
