Project School Visit:
General Crerar Public School

Visit sponsored by: The Howitt-Dunbar Foundation

On February the 17th, 2005, we visited Scarborough's General Crerar Public School. Below is a letter from the school.

On behalf of the staff and students at General Crerar Public School I would like to thank both the Canadian Peregrine Foundation and the Howitt Dunbar Foundation for coming to our school and informing "us" on the huge efforts to protect the Peregrine Falcon.

The presentation tied in perfectly to the "Animal Habitat" unit I have just begun to teach my grade 4 class. It also served as a wonderful introduction to "our" Respect Animals Week taking place from March 7 to 11.

The presenter, Michael Fazackerley, did a fabulous job not only providing all of the information but in involving our students and keeping them very attentive.

Thank you once again,
Spencer Arnfield
Grade 4 Teacher
