Project School Visit:
Courtland Public School (Courtland)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment

On April 15, 2003 we visited Courtland Public School with one of our peregrine falcons.  Below is a letter we received from the school.

We would like to thank the TD Canada Trust - Friends of the Environment for providing the funding for the project school visit which we recently enjoyed.  The presentation gave our students the rare opportunity to se a peregrine falcon up close.

Our presenter, Maya, was energetic and enthusiastic in her presentation which captured the attention of all of the students.  The presentation was well paced through the use of the video, background information and the presentation of the falcon.

Our students have shown a keen interest to visit the web site and draw pictures of the presentation.  They have all shown a genuine desire to protect endangered species.

Thank you again for an informative and educational presentation.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Betty Scott, Mrs. Mariola Pleli, Mrs. Sybil Sharpe & the Junior Students of C.P.S.
