Project School Visit:
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School (Oshawa)

Visit sponsored by:  Ontario Power Generation

In January 2002, we visited Oshawa's St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School with our female peregrine falcon "Penny".  Below is a letter from the vice-principal:

On behalf of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, I would like to thank both the Canadian Peregrine Foundation and Ontario Power Generation for the outstanding presentation on the peregrine falcon.

The presentation was informative and presented in a manner that was interactive with the students.  Staff and students from the junior division (grades 4-6) were thrilled with the opportunity to view and endangered species and have their many questions answered.

The presentation was particularly helpful for students studying habitats and endangered species.

We wish you continued success with this project and hope that you are able to present to many schools.

Thank you for this most enlightening presentation.

Yours truly,

Gloria Krampp
Vice-Principal
