Project School Visit:
Bayridge Public School (Kingston)

Visit sponsored by:  TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In May 2002, we visited Kingston's Bayridge Public School with our female peregrine falcon, "Ariel".  Below is a letter from the principal:

Many thanks for arranging to visit our school with the Peregrine Falcon this month.  As this fits right into the junior division curriculum, we were delighted to have a live bird here, for the kids to see and hear about, first hand.

How fortunate we are that the Friends of the Environment Foundation is willing to sponsor these visits.  I feel quite certain it will be our students' only opportunity to see this amazing bird.

Thanks again for the fine visit, and for the resources that we received from your organization.

Sincerely,

Tanis Fairley
Principal
