Project School Visit:
Bay View Public School (Sault Ste. Marie)

Visit sponsored by:  TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In May 2002, we visited Sault Ste. Marie's Bay View Public School with our female peregrine falcon, "Penny".  Below is a letter from the principal:

I am writing to you on behalf of the students and teachers of our school who were so very fortunate to attend the presentation in our library given by David Pfeffer.  He did a wonderful job in educating our students about the peregrine falcon, its life, its plight and about the Canadian Peregrine Foundation.

David's presentation was of great interest and his manner with the children was very engaging.  He held their interest for the complete span of the presentation.  The interaction between the students and David was very positive.  Having such a magnificent creature live in the same room gave our young people a true picture of what this bird is really about.

Once again, I would like to thank you on behalf of the students and teachers of Bay View School for the opportunity to learn first hand about the Peregrine Falcon and your foundation.

Yours sincerely,

W. Agnew
Principal
