Project School Visit:
William Berczy Public School (Markham)

Visit sponsored by: the New Ontario Trillium Foundation

In April 2000, we visited William Berczy Public School in Markham with our 13-year-old male peregrine falcon "Pablo".  Feedback from the school has included the following letter, and drawings from students below:

Thank you for your informative program on the endangered wildlife in Ontario.  Our students are doing a unit on living things, a strand of the science program.  They have been learning the importance of keeping the balance of nature.  It was a great reinforcement of our unit to have your representative explain from his viewpoint how the students can help to save our wildlife.  The students watched an informative video and were particularly interested to see the live Peregrine Falcon.  We have also made use of the Student Guide to extend our program.  Thanks again for presenting  your program.

Yours truly,

S. Hughes
