Project School Visit:
Braeburn Public School (Etobicoke)

Visit sponsored by:  TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In the spring of 2001 we visited Etobicoke's Braeburn Public School with our adult female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".   Below is a letter from the school:

Last spring (2001) Braeburn School enjoyed a presentation by the Canadian Peregrine Foundation.  The students and teachers found the presentation to be factual, informative, and interesting.  The video was especially helpful in educating the children in the importance of protecting endangered species.

As an aside, the other day a group of students spotted and recognized a falcon in our schoolyard which reinforced the learning experience of last spring.

I would highly recommend this presentation to all schools that wish to further and promote the importance of our Ontario wildlife and its preservation.
