Project School Visit:
Broadway Public School (Woodstock)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Broadway Public School in Woodstock with our nine-year-old female peregrine falcon "Ariel".  Below are some comments from the school:

Just a note of thanks to your foundation for providing a valuable learning experience for our students.

We were very excited to have your representative and falcon visit our school on February 28th.  Both the students and staff were extremely pleased to see a live falcon up close and to learn more about their plight and our role in preserving our natural environment.  This information was very supportive of our environmental science programs.

Please also convey my thanks to the Canada Trust Friends of the Environment association for their financial support of this program.

Thank you again for providing us this unusual worthwhile opportunity.

Sincerely,

Jo-Anne Chisholm
Principal
