Project School Visit:
Central Public School (Grimsby)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In March 2001, we visited Grimsby's Central Public School with our nine-year-old female peregrine falcon "Ariel".  Below is a letter we received from the school after the visit.

On behalf of the staff and students of Central School here in Grimsby, I'd like to thank you for your excellent presentation and very useful materials concerning the peregrine falcon.  All who attended found your talk interesting and highly informative, and certainly a highlight was seeing Ariel, your beautiful falcon, "up close and personal".  I know that the students have a greater appreciation for this noble bird and also for the work of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation because of your visit.  Imparting knowledge of environmental issues is very important and we all appreciate you sharing your expertise.

Yours truly,

Richard A. White, Vice-Principal
