Project School Visit:
Fern Forest Public School (Brampton)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In January 2001, we visited Fern Forest Public School in Brampton with our two-year-old peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are a couple of drawings sent to us by students after our presentation, and a brief letter from the principal:

I want to thank you for arranging the presentations to our students today.  I would also like to thank Mark Nash for the excellent work that he did with our students.  All Grade levels (4,5,6) who had an opportunity to see the presentations were enthusiastic and extremely interested.

Our school "mascot" is the falcon, selected for its strength, majesty, skill and beauty.  This could not have been a better "tie in" to our school philosophy and curriculum.

Sincerely,

Marilyn Train
Principal
