Project School Visit:
Memorial Public School (Hamilton)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2000, we visited Hamilton's Memorial Public School with our one-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from one of the teachers:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank your organization for providing our students with such an excellent presentation!  The two representatives sent from the Peregrine Foundation were wonderful with the students and very patient while being hit with many, many questions.

The students are still talking about the presentation and some are very anxious to go "online" to check out the nest in the downtown Sheraton building.

Again, thank you so much for providing an excellent learning opportunity which ended our Habitat unit so nicely.  We hope to see you next year.

Sincerely,

Lori Anne Shannon, Grade 4 teacher
