Project School Visit:
Morrish Public School (Scarborough)

Visit sponsored by: The New Ontario Trillium Foundation

In June 2000, we visited Morrish Public School in Scarborough with our one-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from one of the teachers:

On behalf of the students of Morrish Public School I would like to thank Mr. Gahbauer and Mr. Green for the excellent presentations on the peregrine falcon on May 19th.

According to the students, the best part of the whole presentation was obviously being able to see the live peregrine falcon.  There is nothing better than having the real thing.  It really made a strong impact on all students.

Teachers appreciate the videos that you provided for our resource centre.  It gives them the option to explore in more detail some aspects of the presentation.

The questions were answered in detail, with excellent explanations using technical terms that were not above student level.  The map showing the various migration routes was impressive and added to the presentation.  The students are keen to learn more and will definitely visit your website.  It was a pleasure having you visit our school.
