Project School Visit:
Paisley Road Public School (Guelph)

Visit sponsored by: The New Ontario Trillium Foundation

In November 1999, we visited the Grade 5 students at Paisley Road Public School in Guelph with our educational bird "Qetesh", a 9-year-old female peregrine falcon.  Below are some comments from the principal, and a sample of the feedback we received from the students.

Many thanks for the wonderful presentation.  It was very informative and we learned a lot of interesting facts about Peregrine Falcons.  The live Peregrine Falcon was especially exciting for the students, many had never seen one before.  We appreciate having nature brought into the classroom allowing the students to have a closer connection.   It was an extremely positive experience for children and adults alike.  Thank you for providing this worthwhile learning opportunity.

Sincerely,

Deanna Nodwell, Principal
