Project School Visit:
Rivercrest School (Etobicoke)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In April 1999, we visited the Grade 6 students at Rivercrest School with our 8-year-old educational bird, Qetesh.  We thank all of the many students who sent us their comments and drawings.  Here is a sample of their feedback:

Our class really enjoyed the presentation.  That presentation was very educational.   My favourite part about it was when Marcel brought out a peregrine falcon.  I have never seen a real live peregrine falcon before, until now.  It was very exciting.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Ma

I really enjoyed the presentation that Marcel and Stacey did for us.  It was very enjoyable and at the same time educational.  Marcel and Stacey were well prepared and could answer all of our questions.  They also brought a real peregrine in.  She was very calm, so Marcel kept her out for a long time and we had a very close look at her.

Yours sincerely,

Fatema Balsara

I really thought that the presentation was cool.  I learned many things like a female raptor is larger than a male raptor.  The presentation was very educational.  My FAVOURITE thing about the presentation was when they brought out the real life peregrine falcon.  I hope you let Marcel and Stacey go to the different schools and teach kids about peregrines everyday.

Sincerely,

Tracy
