Project School Visit:
Sheridan Park School (St. Catharines)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In November 2000, we visited Sheridan Park Public School in St. Catharines with our ten-year-old female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  Below are some comments from the school:

Just a short note to thank you for a wonderful presentation on November 29, 2000 at Sheridan Park School.  The teachers and students both learned a great deal about falcons and endangered species.  I was amazed at the number of questions that were asked following your initial talk.

The format was excellent.  Your use of the video and having an actual falcon helped maintain everyone's interest throughout the entire presentation.  In addition, the information package and video that were left for us were extremely valuable.

It is particularly rewarding to see that Canada Trust is sponsoring your work.  Thank you again for sharing your love of peregrines and your knowledge of endangered species with us.

Sincerely,

Peter Maliphant
Principal
