Project School Visit:
St. Anthony's School (Port Hope)

Visit sponsored by: TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In September 2001, we visited Port Hope's St. Anthony's School with our one-year-old peregrine falcon "Penny".  Below are some comments from the principal, followed by a drawing sent to us by one of the students.

Oct. 2, 2001

Thank-you very much for your assistance in bringing the Canadian Peregrine Foundation presentation to St. Anthony's School.

All of our students in Grades 4-8 attended the presentation, and we found it interesting and appropriate for each grade.  It was wonderful for the students to see a live falcon, to watch it eat, and the questions asked by the students indicated a high level of interest.  I would certainly recommend this presentation to other schools-in fact I have already done so.

Sincerely,

Erin O'Sullivan
Principal
