Project School Visit:
St. Brendan Catholic School (Scarborough)

Visit sponsored by:  TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2002, we visited Scarborough's St. Brendan Catholic School with our female peregrine falcon "Qetesh".  Below is a brief letter from the vice-principal:

On behalf of the grade 4 and 6 students of St. Brendan, I would like to offer our gratitude for arranging the wonderful presentation on peregrine falcons, which we saw yesterday.  The feedback from the students and staff involved was all very positive.  Both sets of students were most attentive and focused on the presentation, a sure sign of success.  Your foundation has our students quite excited to learn more, and to get involved not only with this particular initiative, but also with other environmental issues.

It isn't often that we have an event so rewarding for the students, yet also cost-free for them, thanks to your sponsors.  in this day of tight educational budgets, a program such as yours is a real treat. Thank you so much.

Sincerely y,

Glenn Allen
Vice-Principal
