Project School Visit:
St. George Public School (London)

Visit sponsored by: TD Friends of the Environment Foundation

In October 2001, we visited London's St. George Public School with our young peregrine falcon "Oscar".  Below is a letter from the school accompanied by a couple of drawings submitted by the students:

Dear Friends at the Canadian Peregrine Foundation,

Thank you very much for coming to St. George Public School.  We learned a lot about Peregrine falcons and their habitats.  The students were truly captivated by seeing the lives birds.  They were excited about seeing the barn owl as well.

Your program was educational and at a level that students in grade four could understand.  The activities in the Student Guide are also at a good
level.  Please continue to inform and educate students of the necessity and importance of preserving the wild life.

Again, thank you for volunteering your time and for coming to visit us.

Sincerely,
Miss G. Zanini
