Project School Visit:
St. Patrick School (Woodstock)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited St. Patrick Catholic School in Woodstock with our nine-year-old female peregrine falcon "Ariel".  Below are some comments from the school:

I would like to personally thank the organizers and presenter of this wonderful presentation.  The children were fascinated by the habits of the peregrine and especially the raptor's nesting grounds.  The children enjoyed the opportunity to ask questions and receive concise yet highly enlightening responses from the presenter.  What really got them though was the video of these birds in their habitat and the chance to experience a real peregrine in their midst.

The students and staff were very impressed with this presentation, and hope that it returns once again in the future.  Thank you.

Yours truly,

Jason Steffler
Grade 7 teacher
