Project School Visit:
Tyendinaga Public School (Shannonville)

Visit sponsored by: Friends of the Environment Foundation

In February 2001, we visited Tyendinaga Public School in Shannonville with our two-year-old male peregrine falcon "Scotty".  Below are some comments from the school:

This note is to let you know that the presentation about the peregrine falcons was extremely well received by students and staff at Tyendinaga Public School.  The presenter was able to keep the attention of his student audience through the use of video, pertinent questions, and a friendly, articulate presentation style.  The information was timely and important, fitting in well with our curriculum from grade four through seven.  We really appreciated the materials that were donated to our school and the challenge that was given to each student at the conclusion.  Thank you for this important learning opportunity that you have provided for our students.

Sincerely,

Jan Coombs
Principal
