November 1, 1998 -- CPF Director Mark Nash releasing a juvenile Red-shouldered Hawk at East Point Park in Scarborough.   This bird had flown into an Etobicoke storefront the day previous and knocked itself out.  The owners called CPF to rescue the bird, and we were pleased to find that it had not injured itself, and was ready for release.
