This Red-tailed Hawk was photographed in the oak tree on the east side of High Park's "Hawk Hill" in Toronto, during the fall 1999 raptor watch.  While most of the raptors observed at the park each autumn are migrating through Toronto, this unusually dark-breasted individual remained in the park for some time, often perching on this particular branch.
