Please help us keep track of the peregrines!  We welcome your observations of the Kitchener peregrines (or any others) at webmaster@peregrine-foundation.ca

The 2001 Kitchener-Waterloo family:
The Canadian Peregrine Foundation, in partnership with the City of Kitchener, Ontario Hawking Club, Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, undertook the release of four young peregrine falcons in Kitchener-Waterloo in the summer of 2001.  The chicks were brought to the hack box atop the Kitchener City Hall on June 13, and were released in early July.  Read below for details of their exploits, and additional news about peregrine sightings in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
