June 5, 1997 -- Watching them on the monitor each day, it's hard to believe they've actually grown so large in just 4 weeks. However, in just another two weeks, they'll be as large as the adults and almost ready to fly. Pud Hunter gently lifts a female out of the bag and prepares to weigh and band her.
