Please excuse the less frequent colour pictures as renovations are occurring at the Sheraton and access has been restricted for safety reasons. In no way does the renovation activity affect the nesting or nest site.

I returned to the Sheraton nest site earlier this time, hoping I could witness a earlier hand off of the nest. Once again, Tiago was incubating, Rhea Mae was not in my view. At approx. 09:10 Rhea Mae returned to take over and Tiago very quick leave “mom” to take over the 4 eggs.

Pictures attached are showing Rhea Mae arriving and then settling down on the eggs.
