Bill and I have been busy with the Lift Bridge Watch and haven’t had a chance to check on Fruitland until this morning. We easily found both birds sitting side by side in the Communication Tower. There was a lot of noisy work going on outside of Taylor Steel and the birds were not paying one bit of attention. This pair are pretty amazing in that you nearly always see them together. There is no indication of another attempt at nesting. We will continue to monitor the site.
