Every Spring I anxiously await a post over the Southeast Michigan Facebook page to see if our 2008 born Screech is still the resident female there. Today it was again confirmed that she is! They saw at least one chick in the nest box, unfortunately the box is not accessible for banding but I’m thrilled she is alive and thriving!
