Harry Crawford Reports:
This morning at 7:10am, both Ranger and Hunter were seen on the CIBC building. Ranger was on the west logo and Hunter was on the ledge just under her. They were in the same location when I checked at 8:04am but by 8:25am they had moved to the middle ledge on the west side with Ranger feeding. Hunter made an appearance on the west side of the building at 5:48pm. He has been seen daily on this building for the past couple of weeks.

Harry Crawford Reports:
Approaching the Four Seasons along Scollard from Bay at 2:10pm, I spotted Hunter on the ledge of the west-most false balcony on the north side of the the hotel. This is the location of the first failed nest. He immediately dropped down to the surface of the
balcony, out of view. At the same time, Ranger was seen heading towards the east. She returned to the ledge of the east-most balcony on the north side at 2:20pm. At 2:30pm, Hunter appeared on his balcony briefly, flew over and mated with Ranger, then went back to his previous location and dropped down to the floor of the balcony.

Harry Crawford Reports:
At 5:55am, when I opened the bedroom curtains, Ranger was on the south-west corner of 77 Bloor West. She remained there until 6:20am and then appeared on the CIBC building at 7:02am. She took off to the north side of the building at 7:50am. Hunter was on the CIBC building at 7:02am as well. The birds mated at 7:31am. Hunter took off to the south at 8:32am. I checked Yorkville out around 11:30am and didn’t see either peregrine. At 4pm, 3 turkey vultures were circling above Bay and Bloor, drifting south. They were not challenged.

Harry Crawford Reports:
A trip to Yorkville at 2:15pm found both peregrines on the Four Seasons Hotel. Hunter was on the north side of the building on the
ledge of the first nesting attempt. Hunter was on the east side, on the south-most false balcony. Interestingly, this balcony can be
completely viewed from inside the hotel. Hunter was in the Yonge and Bloor area earlier this morning between 5:55am and 8:30am.

Harry Crawford Reports:
Ranger was on the south-east corner of 77 Bloor West [SW corner of Bay and Bloor] at 7:25am. At 7:45am, Hunter took up the south-west corner of the CIBC building, took off to mate with Ranger and then took up the south-west corner of 77 Bloor West. He moved back to the CIBC building at 8:20am and both birds were still in their location when I left the area at 8:30am. The past couple of days found Hunter regularly visiting the CIBC building with one observed visit of Ranger to the same area on Tuesday at 6pm.

Harry Crawford Reports:
Ranger decided to make an appearance at Yonge and Bloor on the CIBC building today. She was first seen in a south concrete slot at 7:10am. She moved to the south logo at 7:58am and finally disappeared from view at 8:40am. Hunter was on the south side of
the same building at 7:26am and disappeared when Ranger left. I searched the Yorkville area later and there was no activity around the Four Seasons Hotel. I didn’t find Hunter but Ranger was on the west side of the Bloor and Bellair condo at 10:22am. At 12:18pm, a turkey vulture was circling above Bay and Bloor, slowly drifting south.

Both peregrines were on the north side of the Four Seasons Hotel when I checked the area at 11:15am. Ranger was again on the west balcony ledge and Hunter was on the one just to the east of her. Earlier, at 8:50am, both birds were circling various buildings at Bay and Bloor, touching down briefly on the south-east corner of 77 Bloor West.

Harry Crawford Reports:
When I arrived in Yorkville at 11am, both Hunter and Ranger were visible on the north side of the Four Seasons Hotel. Ranger was on the ledge of the first nest balcony, the furthest one to the west. She was resting on one foot and was still there when I left the area fifteen minutes later. Hunter was on the ledge of the balcony two to the east. Is this a sign that the second nest, the one on the
east side, has failed? Hunter continues to make brief trips to the CIBC building.

Mark Nash Reports:
Sadly,we have received and update on Ranger and Hunter that has confirmed our observations.
Ranger and Hunter created a second nesting site, which we had reported to you last week. This nesting site was located on the buildings North East Side and was absolutely inaccessible to the public. Reports indicated that the nest had three eggs but it was later confirmed that four eggs were present.
With this being said, sadly I must report that while conducting a general patrol this morning, I passed by the nesting site and neither Ranger nor Hunter were present. Upon further inspection I noted that all four of the eggs were also gone.

Harry Crawford Reports:
Hunter visited the CIBC building several times early this morning and was also seen chasing a small bird in the area at 8:10am. What was interesting was what happened at 11:05am. Hunter flew from the CIBC building in one great stoop and landed on the north-most balcony on the east side of the Four Seasons Hotel. He faced inwards and vocalized. Moments later, Ranger appeared from the floor of the balcony and Hunter took her place. NEST ANYONE! Ranger then flew over to the west side of the Bloor and Bellair condo, the one with the metal spire but chose to pick a concrete roof abutment. In the afternoon, Hunter made brief trips to the CIBC building at Yonge and Bloor.
