CPF Postmaster Reports:

June 14th - 2012
We have some great news to report! Ann has just called with some good news!! Not only can we now confirm that Kitchener has a territorial pair of peregrines, but that have set up house on the Sun Life centre on King Street and are in fact currently brooding a new hatchling!! Congratulations Kitchener and Sun Life!

Banding has been scheduled for June 21st., and Rudy Kruppa from the CPF will be on hand to do the meet and greet on behalf of the CPF in my absence.

As many of might recall, Rudy is a long standing volunteer with the CPF and was instrumental in both setting up, organizing and coordinating the Canadian Peregrine Foundation hack releases at Kitchener City hall for three years back in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Rudy was the CPF’s hack site coordinator during this time and works for the City of Kitchener at the Kitchener City hall just down the street from the Sun Life centre.

Some of you will know Rudy as he has been with us at the Toronto Sportsmen’s show each year at the CPF’s birds of prey booth for the past six plus years.
Stay tuned…………..
